Why not have the sleeve surgery?

Was the sleeve option not available to you? I would think that leaving a little more stomach would be good think so you could absorb more nutrition.

Thanks for the question I did have a choice between the sleeve and RNY gastric bypass. After a lot of consideration and research I decided that gastric bypass was the best option for me. I believe you get the best results with RNY gastric bypass and I thought the dumping syndrome associated with it was a good detourant for me since i tend to have a sweet tooth.
